FloTech installed the first FloMatik-Ream for the largest operator in the Middle East.
FloTech successfully installed the first FloMatik-Ream completion for a major Middle East operator. The technology was selected to overcome deployment difficulties due to the geometry and the length of the horizontal well. The effectiveness of the ‘Ream-in Completion’ was successfully proven, after the completion got stuck while running in hole, and got free after spotting mud pill. The successful deployment was achieved due to the ability to rotate the completion string to the target depth. This will increase the operator ability to deploy longer ICD completion in more complex well trajectories.
